Summary: Train Heartnet was once an assassin for an organization called Chronos, but he is now a bounty hunter hunting down his former employers.  Helping him are two other bounty hunters, Sven and Eve.

Review: This was recommended to me by a friend who has his started own blog called http://behindthemasq.wordpress.com/“Behind the Masq Give his site a look, OK?

Anyway, I thought this was a good show, one of Gonzo’s better efforts.  The animation was really good, and the writing was paced well.
Train is a good protaganist. I like how cocky he is. I also like the fact that it’s an act–he’s actually frightened that one day he may not be able to defeat his enemies. To me, that’s very realistic.
Sven is pretty interesting because his eye can literally see into the future. That gives him an edge over his foes and it’s fun to see him pull it off.
Eve is a blank slate. She doesn’t know anything outside of killing. I like how Train and Sven are spending time with her so that she imprints on them and becomes more human.
So to sum up, I think this is an interesting anime.
Music/Score: I like both the opening and ending themes. (Note: I could not find video of the closing animation)

Sub/Dub: Pretty good dub.
Violence: (7/10): About what I’d expect from a show about bounty hunters.
Language: (2/10)
Sexuality: (1/10)
Nudity:(0/10)
Religion: (0/10)
Related Media Viz publishes the original manga and there’s also a light novel.

    Thanks for the shoutout!
Black Cat, for me, was a pretty good Action/Comedy that doesn’t try to have too much serious action or too many wacky gags.it had a good balance of each.
Also, the series does follow the manga (mostly) but it condenses them so they all follow a straight line. For example, in the manga, Train meets Saya years before the main story, while in the anime, this happens immidiately before the main events.

Glad to hear you liked it!
